Terms & Conditions
Nat Pilates London Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to Nat Pilates. These Terms and Conditions apply to all sessions, packages and services booked with Nat Pilates ("Nat Pilates", "I", "me"), whether booked through natpilates.com, by email, by WhatsApp or in person.
By booking a session, you agree to these terms.
Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal information is handled.
About Nat Pilates
Nat Pilates is run by Natalia Barbosa, a Registered Nurse and Certified Polestar Comprehensive Pilates teacher based in King's Cross, London. Sessions offered include private studio sessions, duo sessions, online sessions and private reformer sessions at partner studios.
Services and partner studios
These terms apply to sessions booked directly with Nat Pilates. Group classes and sessions booked through partner studios (such as Volonté Energy, The Cam Den or Cat N Cow) are booked through those studios and are subject to their own terms, pricing and cancellation policies.
Bookings
Sessions can be booked through the booking links on natpilates.com, or by contacting me directly by WhatsApp or email. All bookings are subject to availability. Your booking is confirmed once you receive confirmation from me and, where applicable, payment has been received.
If you are a new client, you will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before your first session. This helps me tailor your sessions safely and effectively.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
All payments are made by bank transfer; payment details will be provided when your booking is confirmed. Prices are as displayed on natpilates.com and may be updated from time to time.
Any price change will not affect sessions or packages already purchased.
Session packages
Packages of 5 or 10 sessions are offered at a discounted rate. Packages are personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person, with the exception of duo packages, which apply to the two people named at the time of booking.
Packages are valid for [6 months for 5-session packages and 12 months for 10-session packages] from the date of purchase. If you are unable to use your sessions within this period due to illness, injury or other exceptional circumstances, please get in touch and I will always try to find a fair solution, such as pausing or extending your package.
Cancellations and rescheduling
I understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give me as much notice as possible.
-
More than 24 hours' notice: your session will be rescheduled or credited back to your package at no charge.
-
Less than 24 hours' notice, or a missed session: the full session fee applies, or one session will be deducted from your package.
This policy exists because a late cancellation means the time reserved for you usually cannot be offered to anyone else. If you need to cancel at short notice because of an emergency or sudden illness, please let me know and I will treat it with understanding.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative time or a full credit. If no suitable alternative can be found, you will receive a refund for that session.
Find more information in Refund Policy.
Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you purchase a session or package online or at a distance (for example by phone, email or WhatsApp), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If you cancel within this 14-day period before any sessions have taken place, you will receive a full refund. If you ask to begin your sessions within the 14-day period, you will be refunded the amount paid minus the value of any sessions already provided, calculated at the standard single-session rate.
To exercise this right, simply contact me by email or WhatsApp within 14 days of your purchase.
Refunds outside the cooling-off period
Beyond the 14-day cooling-off period, sessions and packages are non-refundable, except where I cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative, or where required by law.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Health, safety and medical disclaimer
Your safety is my priority. Please note the following:
-
Pilates sessions with Nat Pilates are exercise sessions. They are not physiotherapy, medical treatment or nursing care, and they are not a substitute for advice from your doctor or another healthcare professional.
-
You are responsible for completing your health questionnaire honestly and for telling me about any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or changes to your health before each session.
-
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery or injury, please check with your doctor or healthcare provider that Pilates is suitable for you before booking.
-
During sessions, please work within your own limits. If you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort at any time, stop and let me know immediately.
Online sessions
For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that your exercise space is safe and free of hazards, that any equipment you use is in good condition, and that you have a stable internet connection.
Please position your camera so that I can see you clearly, as this allows me to check your form and keep your session safe and effective.
Lateness
If you arrive late, your session will still finish at the scheduled time, as another client may be booked after you. If I am late, your full session time will be honoured or the missed time credited.
Liability
I hold professional and public liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, Nat Pilates is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in sessions where you have not disclosed relevant health information, have acted against guidance given during a session, or have exercised beyond your own limits.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Nat Pilates is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.
Intellectual property
Any session plans, exercise programmes, videos or written materials provided to you are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared or used commercially without my written permission.
1Your personal information
Your personal information, including health information you share with me, is handled in line with Privacy Policy, available at natpilates.com. Health information is only used to plan and deliver your sessions safely and is never shared without your consent, except where required by law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on natpilates.com, and the date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we have a disagreement, I will always try to resolve it with you directly and informally first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
